Eat Drink Arel
This is the best sangria. Super easy, cheap- and soooooo tasty.
Ingredients:
1 bottle of cheap wine (I used 3-buck chuck) I also like to use the ends of whatever bottles I have had sitting around for a few days (or weeks, trust me it will still taste good in this!).
1 apple, or pear, any variety works
1 orange, or 2 cuties! I also throw in lemons and limes if I have them
Spices: I normally use one cinnamon stick, a few cloves, a few balls of whole allspice, and a star anise. Use what you have!
Optional: fruity or spicy liquor. For this batch I used about 3/4 of a cup of Captain Morgan. I have also used pear wine and apple jack before.
Chop up fruits, and then throw everything into a jug together. Let sit at least 1 day, then drink! It will keep in the fridge for 3-4 days.
Warning: will get you drunk surprisingly fast. Yay!
